On 16-18 April, we visited Diyarbakır and met with some of our grantee partners — Children First Association (Önce Çocuklar Derneği), Women State of Solidarity Association (Dayanışmanın Kadın Hali Derneği), KAMER Women’s Centre Foundation (KAMER Kadın Merkezi Vakfı), and Stardust Youth and Community Association.
We thank their teams for welcoming us so warmly and sharing their time and insights.
We also joined the Stardust Anatolia Connect gathering, bringing together 1,000 young people for panels, talks, and networking.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to hear about their ongoing work with children, youth, and women. We listened to their experiences from the field, the challenges they face, and the resilience that drives their efforts every day.
We learned directly from their expertise and were inspired by their dedication to strengthening communities. These insights are vital for us, as they help shape our future work and strategy to better support the needs on the ground.
