We are proud to announce the first grants awarded through our newly launched Sports Giving Circle, a donor-led initiative supporting grassroots organisations that use sports as a tool for inclusion, empowerment, and community building.
Grant to Association for Justice and Rights in Sports
The Association for Justice and Rights in Sports (Sporda Adalet ve Haklar için Sahadayız Derneği – SAHADAYIZ) promotes equality, inclusion, and access to rights in sports, with a focus on child protection, gender equality, and migration.
With the grant support of £25,000, our grantee partner SAHADAYIZ will implement two small grant programmes focused on increasing access to sports for underrepresented groups:
In-kind Grant Programme for Teams and Athlete Groups
This programme will support at least four projects—two of which will take place in earthquake-affected regions—by providing in-kind assistance such as equipment, facility rental, transportation, and capacity building. The programme aims to promote inclusion, equal access, and empowerment through sports, particularly for communities facing discrimination or limited opportunities.
In-kind Grant Programme to Support Girls’ Participation in Sports
The Support for Girls Association (Kız Çocuklarına Destek Derneği) works to ensure equal opportunities for girls by raising awareness, building partnerships, and strengthening support systems.
Delivered in collaboration with the Support for Girls Association, this grant programme will increase access to safe and inclusive sports activities for girls in Antalya. The grant will cover in-kind costs such as equipment, transportation, and facility rental, helping improve sports infrastructure, support child athletes, and introduce children to new sports through events and workshops.
Both programmes will begin in Autumn 2025.
About the Sports Giving Circle
Launched by Türkiye Mozaik Foundation in 2025, the Sports Giving Circle is a donor-led initiative that brings together individuals who pool their donations, skills, and networks to support grassroots organisations expanding access to sports.
The Circle prioritises inclusion, equal access, visibility for marginalised groups, and community empowerment through sport. Members play an active role in both fundraising and decision-making, while Türkiye Mozaik Foundation ensures the process runs transparently and effectively.
