Announcing the Digital Transformation Fund’s New Grantee Partners

We are proud to continue our partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Support Foundation for Civil Society (Sivil Toplum için Destek Vakfı) through the Digital Transformation Fund, which aims to strengthen the digital capacities of civil society organisations (CSOs) in Türkiye. In 2025, the fund supports eight CSOs with a total of 1,720,000 TL in grants, alongside tailored capacity development opportunities, including mentorship and access to expert guidance in the field of digital transformation. Türkiye Mozaik Foundation contributed GBP 10,000 to this funding cycle.

Meet our new grantee partners and learn about their projects:

ALS-MNH Association (ALS-MNH Derneği) – TRY 215,000 grant, Istanbul

The ALS-MNH Association works to improve the quality of life of individuals living with ALS and Motor Neuron Disease, support patients and their families, raise public awareness, and contribute to scientific research. With this grant support, the association will strengthen its communication capacity with patients, caregivers, and donors. To this end, the association will redesign its website, establish a CRM infrastructure to segment donor, volunteer, and patient data, and update its email and SMS marketing strategies.

SistersLab – Association for Women in Science and Technology (Bilim ve Teknolojide Kadın Derneği – SistersLab) – TRY 215,000 grant, Istanbul
SistersLab promotes the participation and visibility of girls and women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. With this grant support, the association will develop a communication strategy to strengthen stakeholder engagement. SistersLab will update its website and implement email campaigns to provide regular updates on its work. In addition, the organisation will prepare a guide on ethical principles in digital communication.

Association for the Conservation of Sea Turtles, Mediterranean Monk Seals, Sand Lilies, and Coastal Areas (Deniz Kaplumbağaları, Akdeniz Fokları, Kum Zambakları ve Kıyı Koruma Derneği – DEKAFOK) – TRY 215,000 grant, Antalya

DEKAFOK conducts educational activities, research, and projects to preserve a healthy marine ecosystem and protect marine life along the Manavgat coastline. With this grant support, the association will work to increase the visibility of its environmental conservation efforts and make more effective use of digital tools. DEKAFOK will set up a digital reporting and information system via WhatsApp Business, run online awareness-raising trainings on sea turtles, enhance online donation systems, develop a new social media strategy for awareness campaigns, and optimise its data analysis efforts using AI-supported tools.

Ecological Balance Society (Doğal Denge Derneği) – TRY 215,000 grant, Ankara

The Ecological Balance Society works to preserve Türkiye’s natural and cultural assets through sustainable environmental protection initiatives. With this grant support, the organisation will develop a digital transformation strategy to increase the visibility of its work. The association will update its website and strengthen its capacity to produce written and visual content.

El Ele Education and Culture Association (El Ele Eğitim ve Kültür Derneği) – TRY 215,000 grant, Istanbul

The El Ele Education and Culture Association provides free educational programmes for families, women, and children who have migrated to Istanbul. With this grant support, the association will develop an online learning management system offering digital skills and AI education for children and youth. Through this system, the association will expand its “My Digital Future” programme and support five other CSOs working in the field of child and youth development to create digital education content and build a sustainable income model through the platform.

Association of Barrier-Free Access (Engelsiz Erişim Derneği) – TRY 215,000 grant, Istanbul

The Association of Barrier-Free Access promotes accessibility and universal design in all products and services, aiming to raise awareness about disability rights through its work in the field. With this grant support, the association will redesign its website to improve digital accessibility for blind users, facilitate access to information on disability rights, and strengthen its advocacy capacity. It will also develop an AI-powered chatbot that provides easy access to information and legislation related to disability.

Cultural Awareness Foundation (Kültür Bilincini Geliştirme Vakfı) – TRY 215,000 grant, Istanbul

The Cultural Awareness Foundation works to cultivate cultural awareness and foster a sense of collective responsibility for cultural diversity, regarded as a shared heritage of humanity. The foundation aims to pass this legacy on to future generations accurately and responsibly. With this grant support, it will develop a sustainable income model by transforming its seminars on history, archaeology, and art into a digital marketplace format.

Roma Memory Studies Association – Romani Godi (Roman Hafıza Çalışmaları Derneği – Romani Godi) – TRY 215,000 grant, Istanbul

Romani Godi conducts monitoring, research, and reporting activities to support the development of rights-based solutions that address inequality and strengthen the collective memory of Roma communities. With this grant support, the association will enhance its digital advocacy efforts to reach wider audiences. It will redesign its website, develop a communications strategy, and improve data management and security practices. Additionally, Romani Godi will organise training sessions to strengthen the digital skills of its members.
