What Is a Giving Circle?
A Giving Circle is a group of individuals who come together to pool their time, money, and skills to support causes they care about. Members collaborate to research, discuss, and collectively decide where their combined contributions will have the greatest impact.
Each Giving Circle consists of members who share a common passion for a cause. These members actively participate in mobilising resources, referring their connections, and making collective decisions. Together, they define a fundraising strategy, create action plans, and contribute to the resource mobilisation process to maximise their impact.
Türkiye Mozaik Foundation’s Role
We provide the necessary infrastructure, tools, and guidance to help Giving Circles thrive. Our support includes administrative assistance, facilitating connections with vetted charities, donation management, and impact reporting to ensure transparency and effectiveness.
We also provide regular impact reports from our grantee partners and host sessions where they share firsthand insights on how your support has made a difference.
Who Can Join or Start a Giving Circle?
Giving Circles amplify individual contributions by combining resources, fostering a sense of community, and making philanthropy more transparent and engaging. Since each circle is built on shared values, connections, and a commitment to a specific cause, we recommend that prospective members already have an existing relationship with at least some of the group.

How are Donations Managed and Grantee Partners Selected?
Members contribute individually, and funds are pooled into a collective pot. The group then democratically selects charities or projects to support. Türkiye Mozaik Foundation ensures that all donations are processed securely and directed to the selected grantees. Circle members actively participate in meetings with potential grantees, using research tools, charity profiles, and impact metrics to make informed funding decisions.
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Yes! As a registered UK charity, donations made through Türkiye Mozaik Foundation are eligible for Gift Aid, increasing the value of your contribution by 25% at no extra cost to you.
Can Businesses Partner with Giving Circles?
